2025 King Taps SMS Signup Giveaway Official Rules

ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED DURING THE GIVEAWAY PERIOD. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.  GIVEAWAY PERIOD

The 2025 King Taps SMS Signup Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) entry period begins on November 24, 2025 and ends on December 2, 2025 (the “Giveaway Period”). 

ELIGIBILITY

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of King Taps Restaurants (the “Sponsor”), and their immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter.

PRIZE

There is one (1) prize available to be won:

• A $250 King Taps gift card (the “Prize”).

The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value, at its sole discretion.

HOW TO ENTER

No purchase necessary. To enter, during the Giveaway Period, opt in to receive SMS notifications from King Taps by signing up via the designated form or by texting the official keyword to the designated number.
Limit one (1) entry per person. Standard data and messaging rates may apply. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

On or about December 2, 2025, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received. The selected entrant will be notified via email using the email address provided upon entry.

To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

• Respond to the notification within 48 hours,
• Correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing math question, and
• Complete any required documentation as requested by the Sponsor.

If the selected entrant fails to comply, another entrant may be selected, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating, entrants agree that King Taps Restaurants, its affiliates, agents, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability for any claims, damages, or losses arising from participation in this Giveaway or use of the Prize.

Released Parties are not responsible for: lost or late entries, technical errors, SMS delivery issues, unauthorized human or system intervention, or any other issues beyond their reasonable control.

PRIVACY

Personal information collected from entrants will be used by the Sponsor for the purpose of administering the Giveaway, as well as for SMS marketing in accordance with King Taps’ [Privacy Policy] and applicable laws. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway at any time for any reason. Any attempt to undermine the operation of this Giveaway may be subject to legal action.

GOVERNING LAW

This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
